We didn't have any pictures of Beau or Cindy at the time Lucas's story was published on the blog. All of the pictures are now on our Flickr site and they include great pictures of Cindy.

For those who may not have access to a copy of the paper.
"Queerly needed" Ted Kerr, Nov 28, 2009
http://www.vueweekly.com/article.php?id=13696

"Philanthropy is a way for people to express their values through giving"
- Jo-Anne Ryan, Vice-President of Philanthropic Advisory Services, TD Waterhouse Canada

Very very few GLBTTQ organizations across Canada receive public funds from local/provincial/federal governments for operations. Few receive public funds for projects or one-time special events.
It is critical for individual GLBTTQ people to support local GLBTTQ organizations with financial donations, volunteering, and helping to secure sponsorships from their employers.
All across Canada, its time for GLBTTQ people (and their families/friends) in the corporate world to come out of the closet and encourage their business support our community.

Congratulations to everyone involved with coordinating and presenting the Exposure Festival. A FABulous celebration of diversity and our community
