Notes on Accessibility:
SPACE Project Edmonton
Exposure Festival has teamed up with SPACE Project Edmonton to ensure all venues used by the festival are physically accesible. Full Audits for all the venues (and other places in Edmonton) can be found at www.spaceedmonton.blogspot.com
Edmonton Transit
Edmonton Transit will be experiencing disruption of the LRT system this weekend:
There will be no LRT service between Churchill and University stations Friday evening (after 6:45pm), October 21 and all day on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 while Edmonton Transit works on the signal system.
Also to note:
-HIV Edmonton is easily accessed evenings and weekends by the amazing, 3, 5 and 9 bus routes. The 9 runs on 15 minute schedules until 11:30pm or so at which point it runs every half hour. The 5 runs every 15 minutes until 9:30pm at which point it changes to every half hour. The 3 only runs once an hour in the evenings. Sigh.
-Expressionz Cafe is only accessed by the 70 which stops running at 11:00pm on Saturdays.
-Leva Cafe is near the University Transit Station, accessed by all sorts of buses (and the LRT replacement shuttle buses). It is also near the 9 bus route.
-The Strathcona Library is within three blocks of many buses, including the 4, 7, 52, 54, 94, 327, 390. The 4 and 7 are main and frequent routes.
More info can be found on the Edmonton Transit website
Parking Tips
HIV Edmonton has limited parking. We can only use there parking after their reg office hours (M,T,W,T 8:30am -5 pm F 8:30am-2pm. This will only affect people attending Papirmasse-a-thon from 2-5pm). There is street parking with a limited amount of metres and a pay parking lot at the HYS Centre (11010 101 Street), one block away.
