Exposure Festival 2011, Queer Revolution is hosting 2 fabulous workshops on October 22nd, 2011. One VOGUE and one DRAG workshop. Hosted and facilitated by IGBY Lizzard and Teen Jesus Barbie.
The Vogue workshop will consist of an overview of the roots of vogue culture from Harlem, Manhattan and the community building values of …vogue. Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing as we will be serving up some sweaty sasstastic moves on the runway. Learn the basic building blocks of vogue dance and let your inner Diva shine!
The Drag workshop will be a four hour exploration of gender bending for boys and girls, including full makeovers, outfits and the opportunity to perform at Exposures wrap up party that very evening!
Vogue will be from 2-5, Drag will be from 6-10. In between there will be food provided for particiapants. Register NOW for one or both (please post on the event wall if your are interested in participating in VOGUE or DRAG or BOTH)
